Re: [openss7] Support for MTP3B
Praveen,
Although I have given it some consideration, I was not intending to
implement MTP3b just yet. However, because there is good separation
between MTP L3 and MTP L2 it is quite possible to develop the MTP3b
SCCF and provide a primitive interface to the OpenSS7 MTP L3.
It has been some time since I looked at Linux ATM (I did a lot of
work with FreeBSD ATM a while back), but I can take a look at it and
give you some pointers.
As to the alpha release date, it seems to have slipped out a bit (from
the original November estimate). However, I am testing L2 streams
modules and drivers currently and will be able to release those hopefully
before Christmas. The L3 will still require some testing and will
likely not be available until after Christmas.
Were you interested in the Linux native version or the Linux STREAMS
version? The Linux STREAMS version is what I am currently working on.
