[openss7] ISUP and Encoder/Decoder questions

Hello,

Two questions.  I have a pile of raw ISUP messages I would like to 
decode, by hand to start with. 

As cool as the McGraw Hill Book on SS7 is, I still am very confused 
as to the layout of the messages. 

Could somebody point me to an idiots guide or perhaps send me a sample
including the MTP?  I would like to be able to look at an MTP message
and identify the upper level protocol.  Then I would like to be able
to look at an ISUP message and identify the type or command.  That
should not be that hard right?


Number #2, Is there any documentation on how to feed the ISUP 
decoders that comes with openss7?  An idiots guide to this would
be handy too.
