Re: [openss7] openss7 release date
Srivats,
We have increased the functionality of the STREAMS version
of openss7 to include:
Fully functional SCTP stack.
Fully functional SSCOP-MCE stack.
Fully functional M2PA/SCTP and M2PA/SSCOP-MCE.
Fully functional M2UA/SCTP and M3UA/SSCOP-MCE.
Fully functional M3UA/SCTP and M3UA/SSCOP-MCE.
Fully functional SUA/SCTP and SUA/SSCOP-MCE.
Fully functional MTP3b.
We already have fully functional MTP2 (Q.703, others, Annex A.)
Fully functional MTP3 with redundancy integrated with SUA/M3UA/M2UA.
Fully functional SCCP with redundancy integrated with SUA/M3UA/M2UA.
Hardware driver support will be limited.
We have already released the MTP2 (conforming to Q.781) and
the Linux Native Kernel version of our SCTP stack. MTP3 has
been released in non-working form for review, although the
lack of comments on the design and implementation approach
has led us to deviate from that baseline.
What pieces were you interested in? If you are interested in
specific hardware support for MTP2, you will need to let us
know the hardware you are interested in.
If you are concerned about a delivery data for the pieces that
you are interested in, the best way to accelerate the process
is to contribute to the project.
