I'll help.

What diagram? Actually the the upcoming release has support
for T1 (Annex A) SS7 links and provides M2UA, M3UA. There
might not be anything missing there except a driver for your
favorite T1 card.

Speaking of favorite T1 cards, I have some equipment to develop on and some
time available to work in this area. I have several of the Performance
Technology PCI & CPCI cards in hand along with a few Motorola 8216 HA
systems I inherited when my last contract job ended with the company going
out of business. I was thinking putting PPC Linux on these cards and
running MTP on the card in the HA chassis. Also interested in working on a
distributed MTP3 for the HS/HA environment and in doing a MPC8260 version to
support higher link counts and concentration onto SIGTRAN. I have been
working with SS7 since the 80's and recently working with the Hughes Stack,
the Trillium SIGTRAN implementation, and Linux and LynxOS kernel and
drivers.

I also have been told that I may use the dead companies MGTS's until they
resurrect or sell them off in chapter 7, which may also be useful.

Let me know the interest.
