[openss7] RELEASE: strss7-0.7.8 M2PA for LiS STREAMS

All,

We are pleased to announce the relase of our SCTP implementation
integrated with the OpenSS7 Signalling Link code and a M2PA module
in the strss7-0.7.8 (M2PA) for LiS STREAMS release.

The software is GPL'd and available for download on our dowload
page at http://www.openss7.org/download.html

This implementation of M2PA includes a conformance test suite that
verifies the M2PA implementation of [draft-ietf-sigtran-m2pa-04.txt]
against the 73 applicable (albeit modified) Q.781 test cases.  Also
included in the release is an internet draft document that details
the conformance test cases that the M2PA implementation passes:
draft-bidulock-sigtran-m2patest-00.txt.

The OpenSS7 LiS STREAMS implementation of RFC 2960 (SCTP) is
integrated with the package.

Upcoming releases will include M2UA, M3UA, SUA, MTP, SCCP and TCAP.

Expect releases to come quite rapidly over the next few weeks.
