Hi ,

Iam on a knowledge-building project, to implement MTP2 and MTP3.
My requiements are to design & implement the bare minimum funtionalities
in MTP2 & 3 (from ITU-T Q.70x specs) ,
perhaps single link, back to back T1/E1 card on linux m/c .  i have time
constraint for this.
could some one answer the following:

* Since i don't intend to spend time on MTP1, what would be the easiest
way to go about?
buy a T1/E1 card , use vendor's APIs for trans and rcv in the buffer
stream (... if it is done that way? ) and which vendor would be best (
in terms of
easy interface)?

* Are there any standards for API's b/w MTP3 and layer -4 (like there
are JAIN  standards for TCAP and above interface )
or is it that only the primitives( indication, response..etc) are
difined and implementation is designers choice.

* Does  C++ implementation for MTP2/3  have any advantages in reducing
implementation time/ debugging / clarity etc , as compared to C
( though i dont subscribe to this idea .. )
