I finally managed to get rid of most compiling errors.  Thanks go to
people who
gave me suggestions.

However, there is one assembler error that I can't get rid of when I do
make
install:

{standard input}:15: Warning: Ignoring changed section attributes for
.modinfo
make[2]: *** [sl.o] Error 1
make[2]: Leaving directory `/root/openss7/strss7-0.7.4/drivers/sli'
make[1]: *** [all] Error 2
make[1]: Leaving directory `/root/openss7/strss7-0.7.4/drivers'


I am just wondering if I need that particular card before I can even
compile the
assembler code correctly?
