I don't have this recommendations. Why is not there SNMP MIBs for SS7?
It's only MIB definitions in GDMO for SS7. Could it be tranlate to SNMP
SMIv2?

We can use an SNMP subagent using the AgentX protocol. I think it's
the most easier solution and posible the most elegant. Or a traditional SNMP
agent.
To support the SNMP funcionality I think we can use NET-SNMP. I think
it's one of the most powerful platform for SNMP.

For CMIP over TCP/IP I do not know which tool to use. I use ISODE for CMIP a
years ago.
It's true that only GDMO MIBs are defined, but CMIP is very complex to
develop. Is it worth
to use it?

I am going to take a look at SS7 and the OpenSS7 project.
