Re: [openss7] SCTP for 2.4 kernel

Per,

We have developed an SCTP for LiS STREAMS that will be part of
the OpenSS7 stack SIGTRAN support. The STREAMS version has a
number of improvements over the Linux Native Kernel version.

We are considering rolling the improvements back into the Linux
Native Kernel version, porting it forward to 2.4.x and
submittting it to the linux kernel. One or two other parties
have asked for 2.4.x support.

Unfortunately, we are not current funded to do that and are busy
pursuing work for pay. If anyone is interested in funding a
Linux 2.4.x port, please contact me offline.
