The socket-based development is OLD development. We abandonned that approach
in favor of an LiS STREAMS based design.

That's would be a good start. However, we are soon releasing our LiS
STREAMS version of SCTP and will shortly be providing an M2PA module
for SCTP which provides SS7 link capabilities over SCTP. M2UA/M3UA/SUA
are following closely behind.

Some new downloads will be going up soon, but your best bet is to
get started with strss7-0.7.4.
