[openss7] SIGTRAN info
All,
I have added a SIGTRAN reference page to the openss7.org site
at http://www.openss7.org/sigtran.html
Included on this page are recent drafts submitted to the SIGTRAN
working group in text, postscript and PDF. I have also updated
the FAQ at http://www.openss7.org/faq14.html to reflect current
information on SIGTRAN.
This is in preparation for our release of the complete SIGTRAN
SS7 suite: M2UA, M3UA, SUA and TUA, for the OpenSS7 stack.
The OpenSS7 stack now uses SIGTRAN components to acheive full
redundancy of the SS7 stack between hosts and blades for a robust
carrier-class SS7 stack. The UAs are based on the OpenSS7 STREAMS
implementation of SCTP and will also work over an SSCOP-MCE driver
created primarily for inter-blade communication over PCI bus.
