Re: [openss7] Compiling strss7-0.7.4

Brian:

It sounds weird, but even using egcs 2.91.66 (which happens to come with RH 7.0) I
see some problems.

Compile went fine, but when I did make install, I got:

install -c streams-sl.o /lib/modules/2.2.16-22smp 2.2.16-22BOOT 2.2.16-22enterprise
2.2.16-22/misc
install: `/lib/modules/2.2.16-22smp' is a directory
install: `2.2.16-22BOOT' is a directory
install: `2.2.16-22enterprise' is a directory
make[2]: *** [install] Error 1
make[2]: Leaving directory `/root/openss7/strss7-0.7.4/drivers/sli'
make[1]: *** [install] Error 2
make[1]: Leaving directory `/root/openss7/strss7-0.7.4/drivers'
make[1]: Entering directory `/root/openss7/strss7-0.7.4/test'
make[1]: Nothing to be done for `install'.
make[1]: Leaving directory `/root/openss7/strss7-0.7.4/test'

This problem happened before I did something (I forgot what I did at this point),
but it went away.

I believe the machine I am using is kind of messy inside (especially after a few
upgrade/downgrade of gcc, LiS ...). I will try that out in my home machine later
on tonight to see if the problem still persists.

Regarding to the test problems, I haven't done much yet. I got caught for
something at my work. But I will try it out as soon as I get everything compiled
and installed correctly.

Thanks for your help again,

Patrick.
