The Asterisk PBX is an Open Source product that provides a software-based PBX functionality. (Hey, it would be the first time that a PBX grew into a telephone switch.) This product adds SS7 FGD trunking capabilities to the Asterisk PBX as enabled by the OpenSS7 SS7 and IP stacks.

This product focuses on the SCCP and TCAP capabilities of the OpenSS7 stack. It utilizes SUA and TUA for redunancy and reliability and supports TALI integration to Tekelec IP7 and other TALI compliant products.
