SS7 Stack
Description: OpenSS7 Product Status SS7 Stack.
These products are for components of the OpenSS7 SS7 stack. Each component is tracked under a separate product. Click on any of the components below to see product information relating to the desired component.
- ISUP - ISDN User Part (ISUP)
- Base Station System Application Protocol (BSSAP)
- Transfer Capabilities Application Part (TCAP)
- Signalling Connection Control Part (SCCP)
- Message Transfer Part (MTP) Level 3
- SS7 Stack Manager (SS7 SM)
The ISUP product provides a STREAMS multiplexing driver which will provide the ISUP protocol modules. This includes continuity testing and circuit management functions.
Base Station System Application Protocol (BSSAP)
The BSSAP product provides a STREAMS multiplexing driver that will provider the BSSAP protocol module. This includes paging and call control functions and will act as either BSS or MSC.
Transfer Capabilities Application Part (TCAP)
The TCAP product provides a STREAMS multiplexing driver which will provide the TCAP protocol module. This does not include specific application parts that might make use of TCAP.
Signalling Connection Control Part (SCCP)
The SCCP product provides a STREAMS multiplexing driver which will provide the SCCP protocol modules. This includes both connectionless and connection oriented protocol classes.
Message Transfer Part (MTP) Level 3
The MTP3 product provides a Message Transfer Part (MTP) Level 3 (MTP3) multiplexing driver which will proivde the MTP protocol modules.
The SS7 Stack Manager product provides configuration and management tools for the OpenSS7 SS7 stack.
