SS7 Codecs include a C++ based SS7 message encoding and decoding (codec) framework developed some years ago. Since message parsing functions are now internal to the OpenSS7 SS7 stack, these codecs are not used. There are a lot of people still downloading them however...

The GSM/MAP HLR GPRS product provides an HLR with GPRS capabilities for the OpenSS7 stack. This product uses the OpenSS7 stack to provide a 6-million subscriber HLR using a blade architecture. This product focuses on the SCCP and TCAP capabilities of the OpenSS7 stack. It utilizes SUA and TUA for redunancy and reliability and supports TALI integration to Tekelec IP7 and other TALI compliant products.

The SMSC product provides an SMSC based on the GSM/MAP HLR capabilities of the OpenSS7 stack and other packages such as Kannel. This product will provide both an SMSC client (i.e., MSC) as well as SMSC server (i.e., HLR) side. The product provides libraries and extensions for integrating the SMSC with web-enabled services. This product focuses on the SCCP and TCAP capabilities of the OpenSS7 stack. It utilizes SUA and TUA for redunancy and reliability and supports TALI integration to Tekelec IP7 and other TALI compliant products.

The IN (800/CMS/CLASS/CNAM/LIDB) product provides an IN interface library which provides a framework and applications for 800, CMS, CLAS, CNAM, LIDB services. These applications are intended to run stand-alone, or in conjunction with the switch-based applications below (OpenSwitch, Asterisk). This product focuses on the SCCP and TCAP capabilities of the OpenSS7 stack. It utilizes SUA and TUA for redunancy and reliability and supports TALI integration to Tekelec IP7 and other TALI compliant products.

This product provides LNP capabilities (INAP-based query) applications and application support for the OpenSwitch and Asterisk products. This product focuses on the SCCP and TCAP capabilities of the OpenSS7 stack. It utilizes SUA and TUA for redunancy and reliability and supports TALI integration to Tekelec IP7 and other TALI compliant products.

This product builds on the LNP and CNAM and LIDB products above to provide ENUM access to PSTN number databases. It also provides some location and relocation services capable of being provided beneath ENUM. This product focuses on the SCCP and TCAP capabilities of the OpenSS7 stack. It utilizes SUA and TUA for redunancy and reliability and supports TALI integration to Tekelec IP7 and other TALI compliant products.

This product provides a complete AIN/CS INAP call model for the OpenSwitch product. This is a JAIN compatible framework which will permit the OpenSwitch product to provide standard, feature rich Class 5 functionality and yet interwork with PSTN network-based AIN/INAP services. This product focuses on the ISUP, SCCP and TCAP capabilities of the OpenSS7 stack. It utilizes M3UA, SUA and TUA for redunancy and reliability and supports TALI integration to Tekelec IP7 and other TALI compliant products.

The OpenSwitch product provides an Open Source SoftSwitch. A SoftSwitch is a device which provides call control for both traditional and next generation network technologies based on open signalling and communciations protocols. This product leverages on some of the enabling products listed above. This product focuses on the ISUP, SCCP and TCAP capabilities of the OpenSS7 stack. It utilizes M3UA, SUA and TUA for redunancy and reliability and supports TALI integration to Tekelec IP7 and other TALI compliant products.

The Asterisk PBX is an Open Source product which provides a software-based PBX functionality. (Hey, it would be the first time that a PBX grew into a telephone switch.) This product adds SS7 FGD trunking capabilities to the Asterisk PBX as enabled by the OpenSS7 SS7 and IP stacks. This product focuses on the ISUP capabilities of the OpenSS7 stack. It utilizes M3UA for distribution, redunancy and reliability and supports TALI integration to Tekelec IP7 and other TALI compliant products.

The Kannel product is an Open Source SMS product. Currently Kannel has been lacking in its inability to query SMSC using the SS7 network. This product leverages both the SMSC product above as well as the Kannel work to integarte Kannel into the SMSC. This product focuses on the SCCP and TCAP capabilities of the OpenSS7 stack. It utilizes SUA and TUA for redunancy and reliability and supports TALI integration to Tekelec IP7 and other TALI compliant products.

The SoftSwitch Complex product provides a softswitch complex for VoIP applications.

The Signalling Gateway product provides a signalling gateway for SS7/SIGTRAN applications.

The Session Border Controller product provides an SBC for VoIP applications.

The PSTN Gateway product provides a PSTN gateway complex for VoIP applications.

The SS7/SIGTRAN/VoIP Security Network product provides a laboratory platform for SS7/SIGTRAN/VoIP security research.

The Carrier VoIP Switch product provides a carrier switch for VoIP applications.
