| ProductsDescription: OpenSS7 Products.OpenSS7 products include the SS7 Stack, IP Stack, SS7 Device Drivers, IP Transport, Embedded Systems development and Applications. All products (with the exception of Applications) are stack, driver and platform products that reside primarily below the user-kernel interface. Applications are user-level products that provide frameworks, libraries and components in user space that utilize the SS7 stack.
Applications products include GSM/ MAP HDR GPRS, SMSC, IN (800/ CMS/ CLASS/ CNAM/ LIDB), LNP, ENUM/ NAPTR, CS/ AIN Call Model, OpenSwitch, Asterisk PBX Intergration and Kannel Integration. The OpenSS7 SS7 Stack was the first product upon which OpenSS7 embarked. It includes the core SS7 protocol stack which includes MTP3, ISUP, SCCP, TCAP, BSSAP and BICC protocol modules. Integrated Service Digital Network (ISDN) Stack The OpenSS7 ISDN Stack is one of the latest products upon which OpenSS7 has embarked. It includes the core ISDN protocols, as well as ISDN Q.931-related protocols such as ISDN, DL, V5.2 and GR-303 protocol modules. SIGnalling TRANSport (SIGTRAN) Stack The SS7 over IP Stack has been a part of the OpenSS7 stack development for some time. This stack includes SS7/IP, SIGTRAN and TALI components. The VoIP Stack is a new addition to the OpenSS7 stack development. This stack includes H225, SIPT and BICC. The MG Switch control is a new addition to the OpenSS7 stack development. This switching control includes CH, MX, MG, MGCP, MEGACO H.248, H.245. The SS7 Device Drivers component consists of drivers for specific hardward to support Message Transfer Part Level 2 (MTP), MTP3b, SS7/IP, M2PA and other signalling link device drivers. Internet Protocol (IP) Transport The Transport component consists of Internet Protocol (IP) transport stacks including STREAMS based: Stream Control Transmission Protocol (SCTP), SSCOP-MCE, TCP, UDP and RTP. The Embedded Systems Development product provides for ports of the OpenSS7 SS7 stacks drivers and transport components to embedded Linux systems.
