Description: OpenSS7 About Subscription

Membership

Members of the OpenSS7 Project are permitted to download public release code, participate in mailing lists, submit bug reports, and view all areas of the OpenSS7 website with the exception of web access to the CVS archives and sponsor bug report status.

You do not have to do anything special to be a member of the OpenSS7 Project. Membership does not cost anything (except your own time).

Registration

Members who register with the OpenSS7 Project have all of the piviledges of a non-registered member with some additional priviledges. Registered Members have web access to snapshot code not yet publicly released, and have accecss to the registered members bug report and status areas. Registered members are allowed to vote on OpenSS7 Development projects.

Registration does not provide development credits and does not provide license to use snapshot code in any way other than viewing it for evaluation purposes.

Registration can be performed on the OpenSS7 Project website and is invoked when attempting to access restricted areas.

Subscription

Subscribers to the OpenSS7 Project have all of the priviledges of a Member with some additional priviledges. Subscribers can access all CVS archive areas (using either the web access or CVS pserver) and have access to the subscribers bug report and status areas. Subscription provides one (1) development credit that can be applied to OpenSS7 Projects.

Subscription does not provide commercial licenses for redistribution of the OpenSS7 Project code.

Subscription costs money, or is offered as a result of a significant contribution to the OpenSS7 Project. Subscription to the project is offered by OpenSS7 Corporation.

Sponsorship

Sponsors of the OpenSS7 Project have all of the priviledges of a Subscriber with the additional priviledges of negotiated turn-around access to the sponsors private bugs database, as well as commercial licenses for redistribution of OpenSS7 Project code outside the GPL. Sponsorship provides a number of development credits that can be applied to OpenSS7 Projects. In addition, if a sponsor wishes, we will include their logos and links on our Sponsors page.

Sponsorship costs money, or is offered as a result of a significant financial or resource contribution to the OpenSS7 Project. Sponsorship of the project is offered by OpenSS7 Corporation.
