| LicensingDescription: OpenSS7 About LicensingPublic License terms are provided by OpenSS7 and contributors on all software with the exception of test programs which have closed licenses and SNMP MIBs which have a reasonable condiiton. Commercial license (or AGPL3 exception) is provided on all software by OpenSS7 Corporation. For more information on Commercial Licensing see OpenSS7 Corporation. OpenSS7 provides dual licensing (AGPL3 and Commercial) in fitting with the goal of self-sustaining open source SDLC management. OpenSS7 releases its code publicly under the most restrictive GNU public licenses possible (primarily AGPL3) as well as providing commercial releases of the same and additional software under commercial license. This serves the goal of self-sustaining open source SDLC management by ensuring that public releases maintain the ideals of FOSS while permitting businesses to license the software under a less onerous commercial license in exchange for funding. It is our view that this currently best balances the goals of sustaining an ongoing open source activity while allowing proprietary commercial use of the software in exchange for funding. However, we strongly caution commercial ventures against the distribution or use of any public release software under AGPL3 license should the venture not be prepared to strictly meet the terms of the AGPL3. OpenSS7 Corporation provides compliance statements for publicly released software that it deems meets the terms of AGPL3. Violations of the terms of any public license under which OpenSS7 software is distributed may be reported to OpenSS7 Corporation at licensing@openss7.com.
