STREAMS Sockets (strsock) Release
Description: OpenSS7 Public Release Packages strsock.
The strsock package has long been incorporated into the openss7 package (since
2009). This information is here only for historical purposes. See the release of the
openss7 package instead.
Historical:
OpenSS7 implementation of the X/Open XNS Sockets libsocket library for
Linux Fast-STREAMS. It provides the sockmod module,
socksys driver, and libsocket library. This package is only applicable to
Linux Fast-STREAMS, as the LiS
Stream Head is incapable of supporting sockets.
Most of these components were formerly part of the SS7 package
and are currently fully incorporated into the OpenSS7
package. It is no longer maintained as a separate package.
