Description: OpenSS7 Public Release Packages linux-sctp.

The linux-sctp public release package provides a Linux Kernel Native implementation of the Stream Control Transmission Protocol (SCTP). This is a sockets implementation which is patched into the Linux 2.4.x kernel in the same manner as NET4 TCP/IP to provide a direct sockets implementation.

This implementation is based on the same protocol engine core as the OpenSS7 SVR 4.2 STREAMS implementation of Stream Control Transmission Protocol (SCTP).
