| OpenSS7 Website Updated!Description: OpenSS7 Old News.Approved for Immediate Release Jan 21, 2006 (Edmonton, Alberta -- Jan 21, 2006) The OpenSS7 Website has been updated. The new website switched over this morning and we will let it burn in over the weekend.
An attempt has been made to invalidate as few bookmarks or
links as possible. The webmaster will be watching
the error logs for broken links for a while. If you notice any anommalies, feel free to report
them to the webmaster.
On thing that is already known not to work yet is the Most of the pages on the website have been updated with new information. It would be well worth the time to walk the site at see the changes. Some updates that you will notice are the online manual pages have been updated to those from the latest Linux Fast-STREAMS release package. Also, almost every page from the old site has been updated with current information. This new website is the culmination of a lot of work. You will find a host of new features on the website and all the old standbys. Additions include a Packages page that provides a browsing utility for walking through all of the software packages released on the OpenSS7 site; a Manuals page that provides a browsing utility for walking through all of the software installation and reference manuals now available online; and the beginnings of a Hardware guide. Also, menues are now dynamic: there are new menus that appear on the menu bar that permit moving to related pages, and a quick links on the home page. Enjoy the new site!
